Sharkfin 2.0 Exhaust Tips are finally here!
The Sharkfin design is a Steady Custom Cycles staple and it is a patent pending design. The exhaust tips are compatible with the Samson Cholo Pipes and our SCC Chykla Pipes. Please let us know if you are interested in using the Samson Fishtail tips when placing the order for our Chykla pipes to make sure we make the correct fitment other wise the Chykla pipes will not be compatible with the Samson Fishtail tips. The Sharkfin pipes are available in CHROME and a CERAKOTE BLACK (which looks like a flat black). You can purchase Samson Fishtail exhaust tips with our company as well over the phone. Steady Custom Cycles does resale of Samson parts. We recommend ordering the Samson Cholo pipes and pairing them with our Sharkfin tips for a cleaner look. If you’d prefer a set of pipes with the UPSWEPT design, then we recommend ordering our Chykla Pipes. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page to see information about our warranty.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please use a 4mm hex key (or Allen Wrench) to unscrew the tips and add lock tight to the bolts in order to prevent the exhaust tips from loosing up and falling off during use.
Pipes & Exhaust Tips Warranty: Our slip‐on pipes and tips are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. The following models are not covered by our warranty 1997‐2008 Touring/Bagger. Our warranty does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any system that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damage during impact (scrape the curb, accident, etc.). Intended for use with stock engine only. If shock absorbing spacers were recommended for your Touring bike, please switch out the spacers to the recommended set or else cracking in the pipes may occur, if this is not followed the warranty will be voided. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended to prevent cracking. Do not over tighten the spacers because the spacers will not function properly due to the loss of elasticity from the extreme pressure. Please use lock tight on the exhaust tips to prevent the tips from falling off due to the vibration produced by the motorcycle. Replacement will not be offered if the tips were not properly installed. Replacements are only available if there are manufacturing errors. Warranty does not cover scratched, damaged, discolored, altered or misused exhaust tips or pipes. NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles Pipes does not have heat‐shields, the pipes are 100% visible. Discoloration on the pipe could occur if the engine is not tuned. Tuning your bike is highly recommended when changing the pipes out. DISCLAMER: California Warning: The California Air Resources Board (“CARB”) does not permit the use of aftermarket exhaust systems that remove or alter OEM emission control devices unless certified by CARB, other than for racing vehicles on closed courses.
