#1 DO THE PIPES COME WITH BAFFLES?

 

No, none of our pipes come with baffles. Baffles can be requested by the customer for an added fee of $60.00, this fee covers the payment of the baffles and the service. Please note that we do not sell the baffles separately. The baffles have to be ordered at the time of purchase with the slip-ons.

#2 IS THE PRICE ON THE WEBSITE THE PRICE OF THE FULL EXHAUST?

 

No, we do not manufacture the full exhaust. We only manufacture the slip-ons. The companies we recommend for the head pipes are FREEDOM PERFORMANCE & SAMSON USA. #3 CAN YOU MAKE ME CUSTOM HANDLEBARS, PIPES, ENGINE GUARDS, OR REAR GUARDS?

 

Yes and No, we do work with the customers to adjust some of our designs such as needing more pull back or custom heights or lengths. However, please note that customized items are FINAL SALE. Not available for refund, return or exchange. Since the parts are custom made to a specific customer’s liking the price for custom items is higher due to the fact that the order takes more detailed attention from the production team and thus slowing down regular orders. The added fee is $90.00, this covers the time of the specialist working on your customized order. Please know that custom orders have a longer lead time than items we keep in stock. Drawings and dimensions will be requested from the customer and the technician will work with the customer to find what dimensions are actually possible for us to do to get as close as possible to what the customer is requesting. The NO part is the rear guards, extended bag guards, rails, and the Sharkfin 2.0 pipes; these items are a staple of our company and customizing these items is note an option. The only option to customize the Sharfin 2.0 pipes is to request a custom length, the design will not be altered, no exceptions. IMPORTANT NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles founder has immense respect for certain companies and the designs they’ve created. Therefore, Steady Custom Cycles will not copy another company’s design if requested by customer.

 

#4 DOES THE COMPANY OFFER A WARRANTY?

 

NO, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS.

 

 

#5 WHY IS THE LEAD TIME LONG?

 

Thank you for asking, we specialize in custom work. Meaning that each item is made to order, in order to fit the specific needs of each HARLEY-DAVIDSON Bike by year and model. All our parts are designed for stock HARLEY-DAVIDSON Motorcycles. Meaning that if the frame, the swing arm, the risers, or any other items are altered/upgraded or moved then we need to be told ahead of time due to the fact that the parts are intended to be used with stock everything. If we are not told ahead of time that the bike has alterations that may be vital to the part you are purchasing, then chances are that the parts will not fit accordingly. For example: a 2000 ROAD KING using newer 2014 and up extended saddlebags and the customer purchases our 4” Extended Tradition Bag Guards and Rails set. The placement of the guards and rails will be off due to the fact that the customer did not advise us that the saddlebags were not intended for his/her year model bike. If this happened to you, please not that it is not our mistake and we will not be covering the shipping charges to do the exchange, there is also a fee charge for exchanges due to the fact that the item will need to be sand blasted and chromed plated again or powder coated again. Please handle our products with care. Customized order will take way longer due to the fact that the parts have attention to detail and this slows down production. #6 DO YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY?

 

NO, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS.

 

#7 DO YOU OFFER INSTALLATION?

 

Yes, currently our installer is off site at the moment due to lack of space in the shop. We can offer you his direct line to schedule an appointment and pricing to get the parts installed. If you can not make it into our shop, we can refer you to your local Steady Vendor in your area. If you do not have a Steady Vendor, we do offer a vendor application to motorcycle shops that work on HARLEY-DAVIDSON motorcycles.

 

#8 DO YOU OFFER PRODUCTS FOR INDIAN MODELS?

 

No, sorry for the inconvenience.

 

#9 DO YOU OFFER PARTS FOR ZUSUKI OR HONDA?

 

No, sorry for the inconvenience. We only make parts for HARLEY-DAVIDSON motorcycles. If the parts fit your motorcycle and it is not a HARLEY-DAVIDSON model then it is a complete coincidence and it is not covered by our warranty because this is an example of the product being used on a bike that it is not intended for.

 

#10 DOES STEADY CUSTOM CYCLES HAVE VENDORS IN MY AREA?

 

Considering that we ship world wide we do have vendors in numerous areas but not everywhere.

Call our office to get the referral to the number for the shop in your area. We are working on setting up a VENDOR PAGE, so that customers can look up the vendors by state, however, this is a work in process therefore we are unclear as to when we’ll have the page up on the website.
