SCC CHIKLA pipes are a new original design with our upswept fishtail style in mind. The upswept pipes are very popular, even more so than the standard fishtails. The Chikla pipes have the upswept design with a wider exchangeable tip to change up the style. The style of tips will be selected by the client. We will email you a follow up email requesting the year and model of bike and which style of exhaust tips you'd like. We have the STEADY TIPS, PISTON TIPS, DIAMOND TIPS, SLASH CUT TIPS, FISHTAIL TIPS, SHARKFIN 2.0 TIPS, and BATIQUE TIPS. Please know that the SHARKFIN 2.0 TIPS, FISHTAIL TIPS, and BATIQUE TIPS is an additional $155.00 extra. The Slash Cut tips are $10.00 extra. The DIAMOND, STEADY and PISTON tips do not have an added fee. To add 24k gold plating to the Exhaust tips please give us a call, it is an added fee of $200.00

The pipes are available in 37″ , 39″, 40″ and 42″  each set comes with one of our straight tips and look great with our BEEFY BRACKETS and chromed mounting kit. If you are looking for a loud pipe this is the set you are looking for. These are compatible with Softails and Touring models. We custom make each set and have these as a made to order item. These pipes are in cerakote black  which is like a flat black. Gloss black is not available due to the fact that the gloss will melt off over time. The pipes do not come with mounting brackets or hardware (except for the 4 bolts on the tips). The baggers have a chromed mounting kit available for purchase that we recommend ordering to properly level the pipes straight and the Softail models have the Beefy mounting brackets and mounting kit. These things are sold separately. None of our pipes come with baffles, if you'd like to add baffles, they are sold separately. Please purchase the baffles at the same time as the pipes. If the baffles are purchased after the pipes have been made and shipped, we will cancel the order. The baffles need to be installed by our manufacturing team members before the pipes get chromed or cerakoted.  To add baffles go to our search bar and look up "BAFFLES" or to save you time and clear up any confusion by calling in to place your order over the phone. Shipping rates are lower over the phone than the website.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EXHAUST TIPS: Please use a 4mm hex key (or Allen Wrench) to unscrew the tips and add lock tight to the bolts in order to prevent the exhaust tips from loosing up and falling off during use.

Softail: For SOFTAIL with Bassani Header Pipes please be sure that you are not using the BASSANI POWER CURVE MODEL. This model of dual exhaust has an extra bend on the right side head pipe and throws off the placement of slip-ons. It is possible to level the slip-ons however with this specific model the process will be extremely time consuming and remember to loosen up all the bolts the whole head pipe system and the mounting brackets to line up the slip-ons. Like all our products we recommend getting the parts installed by a professional. 

Pipes Warranty:  Our slip-on pipes and tips are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. The following models are not covered by our warranty 1997-2008 Touring/Bagger. Our warranty does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any system that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damage during impact (scrape the curb, accident, etc.). Intended for use with stock engine only. If shock absorbing spacers were recommended for your Touring bike, please switch out the spacers to the recommended set or else cracking in the pipes may occur, if this is not followed the warranty will be voided. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended to prevent cracking. Do not over tighten the spacers because the spacers will not function properly due to the loss of elasticity from the extreme pressure. Please remember that the anti vibration spacers are made of a rubbery material and with use, over time be sure to replace the spacers for a new set to extend the life time of your pipes. Please use lock tight on the exhaust tips. Replacement will be charged for full price of new set or single piece for lost or damaged tips. Steady Custom Cycles muffler pipes are ornamental and not intended to improve performance. Warning: Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by approved SCC Vendor.

NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles Pipes does not have heat-shields, the pipes are 100% visible. Discoloration on the pipe could occur if the engine is not tuned. Tuning your bike is highly recommended when changing the pipes out.
