SCC DESTROYER HANDLEBAR

The Destroyer handlebar is another Steady Custom Cycles original. Designed to give your motorcycle a new twist in style, modern badassness with classic OG flavors! There aren’t a lot of handlebars available on the market where there are compounding (multiple) bends and curves; we wanted to provide our customers with new and fresh designs that isn’t available anywhere else. If you like classic OG styling with a modern twist, the Steady Custom Cycles Destroyer handlebar is perfect for you!

We all know the saying, it’s easy to make one, but hard to do the second… manufacturing the SCC Destroyer handlebars isn’t a simple task. Both sides of the handlebars must be mirror perfect; each side has its own compounding bends going in opposite directions. Luckily, we have the ability and team to offer the highest quality products that we could produce in-house. 

Steady Custom Cycle’s complete handlebar line are machined, formed, and finished in the U.S.A, from .120” wall cold roll steel that has been completely TIG welded in every jointed area.  All crucial slots are done for internal wiring, positioning pin for handlebar clamps, and throttle by wire (TBW)! Installation is made simple with our pre-machined features! Like with any SCC handlebars, we could full customize and build a handlebar to your specifications. Please contact us for more information, lead time, and a price quote. Handlebars with the 1.5" diameter will be made without the knurling grip. There is no standard 1.5" measurement, each company that makes risers have their own different dimensions and are similar but not exactly the same. If you prefer that we determine the placement, we will use the stock riser placement and the knurling may still show outside of your risers and we will not be exchanging or adjusting the bars because the dimensions were not provided to us. Please know that giving specifications of dimensions, makes the order a customized order and customized orders are not available for return/exchange/or refund. This is strictly applied because clients do not take the warning about the dimensions seriously and then make a mistake and want to return the bars after having us build a bar with incorrect measurements and this stays in a storage of defective parts that can not be sold.

If your bike has individual top/upper handlebar clamps, single solid top/upper clamps are *required* to run all handlebars with a rise of 12″ and higher. Solid or stiffer (polyurethane) handlebar bushings are highly-recommended. For those with Road Glides from 2014 and up, please know that we use the stock handlebar dimensions so if you change your control housing to after market housing the placement of the slots and holes will be off. There are holes on the bars in the area for the controls for the original housing to lock in. After market control housing have a shorter width and expose the holes and do not line up. Please keep in mind that our bars are 1.5" and stock are 1" or 1.25", meaning that the stock housing may be a bit small for the bar diameter, if this happens we recommend that you trim the housing a bit to fit the bars and have the housing fit tight. We suggest getting the bars professionally installed.

Handlebars Warranty: All of our handlebars are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. This does NOT cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any parts that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damaged during impact (scrape the ground, tool marks, accident, etc).

NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles recommends upgrading riser bolts to GRADE 8 for all handlebar installs. For 14” and taller bars, we recommend changing any independent (separate risers, commonly on 2009 and below) to solid top clamps on the riser. For any bars over 18”, we recommend changing the risers to beefy solid risers. Handlebars do not come with risers or cable clamps or cables. Custom handlebars are not exchangeable and non-refundable. Custom orders are tailor made for a specific customer’s needs/requests. This applies to custom heights, diameter, and bends. Customer will be advised by manufacturer but will ultimately be made using the customers specifications. Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by approved SCC Dealer.
