SCC UPSWEPT FAT PIPES

The SCC FAT PIPES have been a great success! However, our clients love to customize their orders. This style of pipes has been requested by multiple clients so we finally have a page to order the SCC FAT PIPES (But UPSWEPT). These pipes are similar to the SCC CHYKLA Pipes however, these are a bigger diameter pipe. The Chykla pipes have been very popular because of the videos done by JETFILMS. The down side is that most clients do not end up following the steps that JetFilms did to get the Road King to run at its best in combination with our pipes. Not, everyone has the option to go to Panhead Andy from Prestige Custom Cycles, so these pipes offer a bigger diameter pipe to allow for better air flow when tuning. These run best with short baffles. SCC baffles are available for an added fee. Please know that our baffles are 4" or 5" long and are not intended to increase performance. It is strictly to allow customers to keep the back pressure. Steady Custom Cycles pipes are not intended for performance, it is for style. The pipes are compatible with our FISHTAIL TIPS, SHARKFIN TIPS, BATIQUE TIPS and SLASH CUT TIPS. There is an additional fee to upgrade to these style tips. For the slash cut tips, it's $50.00 extra. For the SharkFin tips, Fishtail tips and Batique tips upgrade, it will be an additional $195.00. FOR SOFTAILS: These are compatible with our SCC CHROMED BEEFY MOUNTING BRACKETS. We advise getting the whole package. If you want to get the complete package deal for softails that include: PIPES, BRACKETS, HARDWARE, AND BAFFLES, then call to get a quote. Muffler clamps sold separately.

FOR BAGGERS: In order to run these pipes and have an easier time leveling the pipes, order our SCC BAGGER MOUNTING KIT. Available in gloss black or chrome plated. This kit does not include the the muffler hanger bracket. 

BAFFLES ARE ADVISED for back pressure. Note: ADD THREAD LOCK to the bolts of the exhaust tips and the bolts of the baffles. Baffles are removable if needed. To seal the hole, just add a lock nut to hold the bolt in place. To keep your chrome clean and shiny please detail the pipes once a week and finish up with chrome polish. Do not use any chemicals that contain grit or else it will scratch the pipes.

Warranty: 

Our slip‐on pipes and tips are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. The following models are not covered by our warranty 1985 ‐ 2016 Touring/Bagger. Our warranty does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal use. Defective pipes need to be returned and inspected before receiving a replacement. Steady Custom Cycles Slip-on pipes are not intended for performance. We will not warranty any system that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damage during impact (scrape the curb, accident, etc.). Only the SCC Fat Pipes (2.25” pipes) are intended for use on touring models. Intended for use with stock engine only. If shock absorbing spacers were recommended for your Touring bike, please switch out the spacers to the recommended set or else cracking in the pipes may occur, if this is not followed the warranty will be voided. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended to prevent
cracking. Do not over tighten the spacers because the spacers will not function properly due to the loss of elasticity from the extreme pressure. Please use lock tight on the exhaust tips to prevent the tips from falling off due to the vibration produced by the motorcycle. Replacement will not be offered if the tips were not properly installed. Replacements are only available if there are manufacturing errors. Warranty does not cover scratched, damaged, discolored, altered or misused exhaust tips or pipes. Steady Custom Cycles does NOT offer slip‐ons bigger than a 2.25” diameter. For SCC Fat Pipes we advise to have the customer use baffles in order to gain back pressure. Bagger mounting kit is needed for properly leveling the pipes, Softail Mounting kit is needed to help properly level slip‐ons. Beefy Brackets are encouraged to be used on softails. Softail models using BASSANI POWERCURVE MODEL head pipes are not covered by warranty. Our pipes are not available to fit BASSANI POWER
CURVE MODEL and it is stated on our website. Warning: Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by approved SCC Dealer. If purchased through a vendor and not directly from STEADY CUSTOM CYCLES, then please bring in the pipes to be inspected by the vendor and request to use the warranty coverage for a replacement. Damaged or defective pipes are to be shipped back to Steady Custom Cycles in order to receive
replacement. Yellowing or bluing is not covered by warranty. 

NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles Pipes does not have heat‐shields, the pipes are 100% visible. Slip‐ons do not come with baffles included unless the customer requests to add baffles and pays the fee to add baffles. Baffles used are not PERFORMANCE baffles, it is short baffles to help with back pressure. Discoloration on the pipe could occur if the engine is not tuned. Tuning your bike is recommended when changing the pipes out. Steady Custom Cycles slip‐ons are not intended to increase performance.
