Our 4" Extended Bag Guards and Rails are a great hit! It's our most requested product, however, there has been multiple clients that wanted to be able to use our bag guards and rails in combination with their 3" or 4" diameter slip-ons. Unfortunately our extended bag guards are not compatible with slip-ons that are wider than 2.5". So we opted to make a shorter version that would allow you to use our guards and rails while not having to change your slip-ons! This is a big win for those using huge performance pipes.
What is eye catching is our Extended Bag Rails, in order to use the rails, you'll need the bag guards. That is why it is sold as a set and the rails are not sold individually. The difference between our bag guards and the stock guards is that our SCC Short Tradition Guards is more heavy duty. With a 1.25" diameter tubing with a chrome finish or powder coated gloss black. The 1.25" matches with the 1.25" stock engine guards.
These will follow the flow of the stock bags from the 2023 touring/bagger models. The new models have stock "stretched bags". It's extended on the rear of the bags but not the front, leaving like a slope at the bottom. Our rails follow that slope to perfectly trim the bottom and adds protection to the bags, if the bike were to ever tip over.
