SCC FISHTAIL Slip-on Pipes

SCC Fishtail slip-on pipes are 100% made in the USA, the parts are made in house.  Our focus is providing the best quality we can possibly offer. Fishtails are a classic staple for CHOLO style viclas. SCC Fishtail are straight pipes without baffles. To add baffles go to our search bar and type in "BAFFLES" , click on the baffles page and add to cart to add baffles to your order. These Fishtail pipes are not for touring bikes. We strongly advise against using these pipes for your bagger/touring model. For touring model Fishtail pipes, search up "SCC FAT PIPE SPECIAL" to go to the page with the recommended pipes for touring models. SCC Fishtail pipes will not be covered by warranty, and are a final sale item. No returns, no exchanges, no refunds.

Our slip-ons are intended for use on true dual exhaust. The drop down menu where is reads: HEADER BRAND. That is asking what header brand will you be using so that we can make the slip-ons custom to fit the current or new head pipes that you will be using. The diameter of our pipes is 1-7/8" to slip over the head pipes of 1-3/4" 

This style of Fishtails is not intended for strong motors. If you have a touring/bagger model, your bike is not covered by the warranty, if you have a softail with altered motor settings or have added cams or have done upgrades to enhance performance, then your bike is NOT covered by the warranty. For these models or bikes with upgraded performance, we suggest you use the SCC FAT PIPES SPECIAL. That product has pipes that are 2.25" and Fishtail exhaust tips. The Fishtail Exhaust tips are made with stronger metal and less likely to crack. Customers with Softails using BASSANI will be contacted to confirm fitment. Please note that BASSANI POWER CURVE is compatible with our pipes but it will be an extremely time consuming install when attempting to level the pipes. The head pipe on the right side has a bend that is not standard for true dual exhaust pipes. This bend throws off the placement of the pipes. Please know that our BEEFY Brackets are not compatible with BASSANI POWER CURVE. For Softail customers we recommend switching to our SCC BEEFY MOUNTING Brackets and softail mounting kit. The brackets we make add more chrome and stronger support.

Pipes Warranty:  Our slip-on pipes and tips are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. The warranty does not cover Touring/Bagger models. Our warranty does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any system that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damage during impact (scrape the curb, accident, etc.). Intended for use with stock engine only. If shock absorbing spacers were recommended for your Touring bike, please switch out the spacers to the recommended set or else cracking in the pipes may occur, if this is not followed the warranty will be voided. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended to prevent cracking. Do not over tighten the spacers because the spacers will not function properly due to the loss of elasticity from the extreme pressure. Please remember that the anti vibration spacers are made of a rubbery material and with use, over time be sure to replace the spacers for a new set to extend the life time of your pipes. Steady Custom Cycles muffler pipes are ornamental and not intended to improve performance. Warning: Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by approved SCC Vendor.

NOTE: Steady Custom Cycles Pipes does not have heat-shields, the pipes are 100% visible. Discoloration on the pipe could occur if the engine is not tuned. Tuning your bike is highly recommended when changing the pipes out.
