SCC MEGAPHONE (CHROME)
SCC MEGAPHONE (CHROME)
Steady Custom Cycles MEGAPHONE pipes were designed as a request by JET FILMS to get the SUPER HORNET pipes design to work for a touring/bagger model. The design works like the name suggests; like a megaphone. This is considered to be our loudest pipes besides the Super Hornets. Since the pipes open up towards the end, it will not affect your bike's performance. The pipes also hold a special quality that most other companies do not offer; EXCHANGEABLE TIPS.
The pipes can be ordered to be UPSWEPT or STRAIGHT pipes. The tips we have available are the straight tips in chrome or black.
We do offer GOLD PLATED tips as a special order.
The gold plating is done by one of our partner out in TEXAS, the company named: Cool Cidd Customz. The plating is real gold so it comes at a higher price and specific instructions for maintaining the gold plating as its best. Any style of our exhaust tips fit this design. We offer the SHARKFIN 2.0 Tips, BATIQUE Tips, FISHTAIL Tips, SLASHCUT Tips, PISTON Tips, DIAMOND Tips and the original STEADY Tip. The pipes come with the STEADY TIPS, you can see the picture with the tips in BLACK or CHROME. Like all our pipes, these are sold in pairs. We now also offer a copper color however know that the gold plating and copper color need to be cleaned with ammonia free cleaners. For the chrome please use chrome cleaner in order to maintain the shine. For the black pipes and exhaust tips we recommend using cleaning products that are specifically intended for Cerakote finish.
Mounting hardware, mounting brackets and muffler clamps are sold separately search for SCC-1025 For the bagger mounting kit and SCC-1017 for the softail mounting brackets and hardware.
These pipes do not come with baffles if you would like to add baffles please go to our search bar and search for "baffles" this item has not sku number. The price of $50 covers the installation and the price of the baffles. The baffles are removeable for your convenience and are intended for muffling the sound. Like all our pipes, the pipes are 1-7/8" in diameter and are not intended to match the diameter of heat shields. We recommend getting the bike tuned after switching the slip-ons.
