SCC TRADITION ENGINE GUARD

There are many simple engine guards out there, however SCC designed their own edition of a classic style engine guard with FAT 1.5″ diameter tubing!

Tradition is a transmission of customs or styles that has been passed down from generation to generation. Steady Custom Cycles Tradition Fat Engine Guard is exactly that, a classic and timeless engine guard (freeway bars) that will never go out of style!  The SCC Tradition Fat Engine Guard is made from 1.5″ diameter tubing, giving it a FAT and beefy look, the style and details your bike deserves! Not only do they look beefy, the flow and bends are very smooth, giving your bike a key look over any bikes with other engine guards installed.

Machined, formed, and finished in the U.S.A, from .120” wall cold roll steel that has been completely TIG welded in every jointed area. Built for specifically for your motorcycle, making installation a breeze!

Please be aware that we do not provide the hardware to install the guards. If you’d like to receive the dimensions of the hardware needed the dimensions are at the bottom of this page.

Dimensions for bolts is as follows: for the top bolt: 1″ length,  5/16″ threading, will need matching lock nut. For the bottom bolts 1″ length,  3/8″ threading, will need matching lock nuts. Do not forget to use lock tight. Harley-Davidson motorcycles tend to have a lot of vibration and improper installation can lead to injury and/or death. Please have a professional installer preform the installation to avoid any incidents.

Engine Guards Warranty: All of our Engine Guards are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. This does NOT cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any parts that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damaged during impact (scape the ground, tool marks, accident, etc.).

Disclaimer: Engine Guard and Bag Guards are ornamental/dress up products with no special functions. All engine guards are built to fit factory chassis/frame, if there are any modifications or damages done to the chassis, then fitment may not work due to the changes. If using air ride please make sure that the forks are using "fork dump stoppers" in order to prevent the guard from hitting the fender. This product is not intended for sharp/tight turns. For lowered motorcycle, such as fender clearance when suspension is compressed and swing arm clearance. Warning: SCC products are made of heavy steel which will add weight to the bike. Steady products do not come with hardware. Only hardware sold as the softail mounting kit for slip-on pipes and bagger mounting kit for slip-on pipes. Steady Custom Cycles is not liable for any damages caused due to failure of checking clearances. Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by an approved SCC dealer.
