Steady Custom Cycles Upswept Slip-On Fishtails are crafted to the highest quality possible! SCC Fishtails are manufactured to ensure that the pipes are seamless, no visible joints or noticeable connections anywhere! True show quality! Pipes do not come with baffles. To add baffles please call in your order, there is an added fee of $50 for baffles.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BAGGERS (if you are interested in the UPSWEPT style please check out our "SCC FAT PIPES & TIPS PACKAGE". That package can be ordered with the 15 or 25 degree bend and comes with the pipes, exhaust tips and hardware included. It is a bigger diameter pipe so allow for better air flow for performance. The tips are made with thicker metal to prevent cracking from the vibration or excessive pressure. Minimum length to clear any saddlebags is 39″, this is the shortest length that would work for any Touring/Baggers.

Our slip-ons are intended for use on true dual exhaust. The drop down menu where is reads: HEADER BRAND. That is asking what header brand will you be using so that we can make the slip-ons custom to fit the current or new head pipes that you will be using. The diameter of our pipes is 1-7/8" to slip over the head pipes of 1-3/4".  M8 BAGGER STOCK has the left side head pipe in a regular 1-3/4" and the right side has a wider opening. 

The black mounting kit is the preferred set since those have anti-vibration rubber spacers to absorb the vibration that the bike produces for touring models. Customers with Softails using BASSANI will be contacted to confirm fitment. Please note that BASSANI POWER CURVE is compatible with our pipes but it will be an extremely time consuming install when attempting to level the pipes. The head pipe on the right side has a bend that is not standard for true dual exhaust pipes. This bend throws off the placement of the pipes. Please know that our BEEFY Brackets are not compatible with BASSANI POWER CURVE. For Softail customers we recommend switching to our SCC BEEFY MOUNTING Brackets and softail mounting kit. The brackets we make add more chrome and stronger support.

Pipes Warranty:  Warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a
period of 90 days. The following models are not covered by our warranty 1990 ‐ 2016 Touring/Bagger. Our warranty does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any system that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, modified, or damage during impact (scrape the curb, accident, etc.). Intended for use with stock engine only. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended for your Touring bike, please switch out the spacers to the recommended set or else cracking in the pipes may occur, if this is not followed the warranty will be voided. Shock absorbing spacers are recommended to prevent cracking. Do not over tighten the spacers because the spacers will not function properly due to the loss of elasticity from the extreme pressure. Bagger mounting kit is needed for properly leveling the pipes, Softail Mounting kit is needed to help properly level slip‐ons. Beefy Brackets are encouraged to be used on softails. Softail models using BASSANI POWERCURVE MODEL head pipes are not covered by warranty. Warning: Warranty not valid if parts are not installed by approved SCC Dealer. If purchased through a vendor and not directly from STEADY CUSTOM CYCLES, then please take the pipes to be inspected by the vendor and request to use the warranty coverage for a replacement. Damaged or defective pipes need to be shipped back to Steady Custom Cycles in order to receive replacement, shipping charges will be charged to the customer.
Yellowing or bluing is not covered by warranty, this is a tuning issue. Discoloration on the pipe could occur if the engine is not tuned. Steady Custom Cycles slip‐ons are NOT intended to increase performance. Chromed parts are only to be cleaned with chemicals safe for use on chrome (do not use  only soap and water, this will damage the coating over time). Using only soap and water will dull the shine and damage the coating. Cerakote pipes are only to be cleaned with chemicals safe for use on Cerakote coatings
(do not use soap and water, this will damage the coating over time). Gloss black beefy brackets and hardware are recommended to be cleaned with only chemicals that state that are safe for use on powder coated products (do not use soap and water, this will damage the coating over time). SCC Pipes does not have heat‐shields, the pipes are 100% visible. Slip‐ons do not come with baffles included unless the customer requests to add baffles and pays the fee to add baffles. Baffles used are not PERFORMANCE
baffles, it is short baffles to help with back pressure.
